Failure (Dahnya)

It's probably been a month of attempts to try and coordinate our Christmas picture. If it wasn't the weather, it was work. If it wasn't work, it was the absence of a photographer. Either way, it's looking like our 2011 Christmas card may not make it out on time. 

For starters, we chose the dreariest day.Which led to my hair ballooning to humiliating proportions. Not to mention that the flash is never flattering. I haven't even touched upon Fran's projectile vomiting illness (I won't go into futher detail those two adjectives should suffice). 

These were the winners of the "shoot":

Option a is being discarded for the following reasons:

1. Those pants I'm wearing? They shall be burned. 

2. You can see the KIPP brand of fatigue on my face.

3. Doakes is off in space. 

4. Fran looks thrilled. 

Option b is being discarded on pure vanity alone: who needs Red Bull when you have Dahnya's pouf?! 

So, in conclusion, should you receive our card in mid-2012...know we meant to wish you happy holidays long before then. We just couldn't make our picture fit within the parameters of a pre-made holiday card.
